Christina Hendricks

Christina Hendricks (born April 15, 1977) is an American actor best recognized for her role as Joan Holloway during the first seven seasons of AMC's historical drama Mad Men. The show brought the actress six Emmy nominations for the best supporting actress and deserved praise from critics. Over the course of her 20-year career she also gained recognition for her part in the comedy dramatic Another Period, a crime thriller dubbed Tin Star. In the film industry, for her performance, she has been noted for Drive Ginger & Rosa Lost River Neon Demon Strangers: prey of the night Egg as well as American Woman. Also, she voiced the voices of characters from films like Toy Story 4 Scoob!, Toy Story 4: Up on Poppy Hill as well as From Up on Poppy Hill. Before that, she was working as a model, and carried on for a long time before making her acting debut on TV with the anthology show Undressed in 1999. Her first major character in Beggars and Choosers. Her performance in Firefly which is a movie that was loved by audiences and critics alike, followed. Esquire magazine awarded her the distinction of being the sexiest and best-looking American woman for 2010, in their annual poll.
